Break Da Rules (BDR) is a forward-thinking independent entertainment company and film studio, established in 2025, with a mission to cultivate bold artistic vision and elevate original, auteur-driven storytelling. BDR provides filmmakers with significant creative freedom, empowering them to bring their unique narratives to life, especially those stories often overlooked by mainstream studios.

We operate a dedicated commercial division, representing a diverse roster of Directors and Photographers known for their visual innovation and storytelling craft. This arm of the company focuses on producing high-impact, budget-efficient commercial content across a range of formats and industries by bringing the same creative integrity and vision from its film projects into the commercial space. We also present a curated slate of wholly owned, boundary-pushing original IP, a slate spanning culture, music, comedy, fantasy, and the unknown, all crafted for maximum cultural impact and long-term franchise potential.

We offer a distinctive approach to consumer products and merchandising, developing meticulously designed, limited-edition collectibles that extend the artistic identity of its films. He has collaborated with top agencies including Fingerpaint, RF|Binder, Emcay, CutHealth, and Real Chemistry, earning recognition with honors such as the Sammy Award for Marketing Technology, multiple Golden Telly Awards, the Pharma Marketing Award for Best Multicultural Campaign, and the Much Music Award for Best Music Video.

Gregg Vickers is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with extensive leadership experience at the world’s top music companies, Sony Music Entertainment (Vice President of Catalog Marketing, Physical Sales & Premium Content), EMI North America (Vice President of Customer Marketing; Senior Vice President, Commercial), and Universal Music Group (Senior Vice President of Latin Sales & Marketing). Over his career, he has driven catalog and retail strategies across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, and built innovative business development initiatives that maximized revenue and strengthened artist relations in the highly competitive Latin and global markets.

Anthony Gonzalez is a music industry veteran with over 40 years of experience spanning performance, production, and executive leadership. He has collaborated with legendary acts including KC & the Sunshine Band, Miami Sound Machine, and Rita Marley, and held senior roles at BMG Music Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment. As a producer, he has spearheaded more than 2,000 projects for icons such as Tito Puente, Ricky Martin, and Celia Cruz, and today manages Latin Grammy Award–winning flautist Nestor Torres while leading Nine-PM Records, a premier jazz label distributed by Sony’s The Orchard.
